Joining Sailing Moorings Clubhouse About Us Local Information Kristin

The fabulous clubhouse retains and celebrates the Club's history and traditions whilst providing first class bar and catering facilities - with separate lounge and dining areas, free WiFi and stunning views over Weymouth Harbour. Please keep an eye on the website for more opportunities to catch up on events both on and off the water.

Our programme of monthly member's nights is well underway and should you have ideas for future club nights etc then please let me know as new ideas are always very welcome.

The Royal Dorset offers a warm welcome, especially to visiting yachtsmen. There are a number of membership options available including an Affiliate Membership category, specifically for boat owners from other yacht clubs. Additionally we have mooring spaces available in Portland Harbour - details in the 'Moorings' area.  We also offer RYA training or own boat tuition through an RYA accredited training centre at a discount for our members - please enquire for details

To our existing and prospective members, as well as visitors, the Royal Dorset is open for you to enjoy. Should you require information on arranging a private function or group visit to the Club, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are also looking to organise some Ladies Nights - please see the page headed 'Ladies Nights' for more information and the opportunity for you to shape the evenings.

I hope you are planning your cruising for this year and  I look forward to seeing you in the club house soon and if you have any ideas for functions or club nights please let me know.
