Well done to Echo (1st in Class 1) and to Wahinee Waves (1st in Class 2). It looks as though RDYC have won the Inter Club Trophy, as there were not enough results from the other clubs. We all had a great day thanks to excellent weather and the sterling efforts of David, Ron and the ‘Timbo’ team. Snow Goose was also pleased to provide some entertainment by flying her spinnaker with mixed success on the 1st race; at least we tried! It was sad that there were not more entries but conflicting demands of open meetings being run by CCSC and WSC were bound to limit the potential candidates.

Best wishes and Rule Britannia

Commodore's exploits in the Eddystone Race
Our Commodore, Gareth Peaston recently sailed to Plymouth to compete in the Eddystone Pursuit Race, enduring robust weather conditions en route and in the race.  As a result of his efforts (and those of his gallant, long suffering crew) he raised a substantial sum for our local charity mv Freedom.
